Faculty Positions
The Institute of Cellular and System Medicine at the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) in Taiwan invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Investigator (the equivalent of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). The general theme of the institute is to develop innovative technologies and strategies via interdisciplinary biomedical sciences for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The institute seeks highly motivated individuals who are interested in disease-oriented themes and with exceptional promise in the areas of cardiometabolic diseases, stem cells and regenerative medicine, bioengineering, and bioinformatics. New investigator is provided with a competitive initial start-up package plus intramural resources including research fund and personnel. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in biomedical sciences or related area as well as postdoctoral experiences. NHRI offers an interactive research community. In addition to modern facilities in research laboratory, the research activity at NHRI is supported by a core facility that houses many state-of-the-art instruments and an animal center.
